Tommy Plummer Tree Services Ltd. was established in 2007 and is fully insured for Public and Product Liability to £5 million. We provide free quotations and expert advice. We always recommend the best course of action for the long-term future of your trees, and can liaise with local authorities and complete applications for tree works (where necessary) on your behalf.

Our teams, with a wealth of knowledge and years of experience, together with the latest equipment, our teams provide the highest level of arboricultural contracting services, and consultancy, for both domestic and commercial clients.

Tommy himself has gained an honours degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, and holds both a National Diploma in Arboriculture and a Royal Forestry Society: Professional Diploma in Arboriculture. He is a Professional member of the Arboricultural Association, an associate member of the Consulting Arborist Society, holds a Lantra qualification in Professional Tree Inspection, and is a Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) licensed user.

Tommy Plummer Tree Services have undertaken a variety of projects.

Some larger projects include:

  • designing and executing a woodland management plan for a woodland protected by a woodland Tree Preservation Order
  • writing a Risk Assessment and management plan for all trees at North Luffenham primary school
  • dismantling twelve 80 year old Western Red Cedars in the churchyard of Witham on the Hill.

Smaller projects include:

  • felling a 20’ tall Lawson’s Cypress in Uppingham
  • trimming a Beech hedge in Irnham
  • planting a Eucalyptus tree in Empingham.
