Tree Condition and Risk Assessment

One of the methodologies we use is Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) for which Tommy is a trained and licensed user. While many tree surveys will assess risk in a qualitative sense, QTRA is a robust procedure for quantifying the risks posed by trees. By quantifying risk, the resulting information allows a targeted approach to budgeting any risk management requirements.

BS5837 – Pre-planning Arboricultural reports
Where trees are present on a development site and before planning permission is given, the local authority may request additional information to support the application such as a Tree Constraints Plan and Tree Protection Plan compliant with British Standard: BS5837 - Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction.
